Les JERC donem suport al líder del Sinn Fein, Gerry Adams
Les Joventuts d'Esquerra Republicana volem mostrar tot el nostre suport a Gerry Adams detingut aquest dimecres a la nit al nord d’Irlanda. Les JERC, defensem fermament la figura del polític irlandès i no entenem com se’l pot acusar avui d’uns fets ocorreguts fa més de 42 anys.
Gerry Adams és un dels líders irlandesos més ben valorats segons les enquestes, així dons, les joventuts independentistes només entenem la seva detenció com un intent de desprestigiar-lo a ell i a la seva organització política, el Sinn Fein, en un moment en què tot fa pensar que les eleccions municipals i europees els seran del tot favorables.
Les joventuts republicanes admirem a Gerry Adams i la seva tasca. Ha estat un lluitador incansable per la Pau i va aconseguir grans avenços amb els acords de Pau del divendres sant de 1998.
Les JERC donem suport a Gerry Adams i al Sinn Fein i els encoratgem a seguir treballant per la reunificació de la nació irlandesa, perquè malgrat tots els atacs que estan rebent, gunyaran.

Left Republican Youth (JERC) want to show all our support to Gerry Adams, arrested last Wednesday in North Ireland. JERC firmly defend all the work done by the Irish politician, and we cannot understand how he can be accused today for incidents that happened 42 years ago.
Gerry Adams is one of the best valued Irish leaders according to the surveys, so Left Republican Youth understand his detention only as an attempt to discredit him and his political organization, Sinn Fein, in a moment in which the local and European elections seem to be very favorable.
Left Republican Youth admire Gerry Adams and all his work. He has been an unflagging fighter for Peace, and he achieved really good improvements with the agreements of peace on Good Friday of 1998.
JERC give all our support to Gerry Adams and Sinn Fein, and we encourage our comrades to keep working for the reunification of the Irish nation, because despite all the attacks they are receiving, they will win.
